California High School Baseball - Argonaut nips Amador

Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA), 1-0 in a league test.

With the win, Argonaut upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Bear River (Grass Valley, CA) to battle the Bruins in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 8. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 18-5. Bear River won 10-3 in their recent league test against Center (Antelope, CA)

With the defeat, Amador falls to 12-14 on the season.
