The Buckeye Valley Barons baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Columbus Academy Vikings to 1 in the Barons league victory on Friday.

The Barons (14-4) will now prepare for their match against North Union (Richwood, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 12-8 record. In their last match, North Union edged Tecumseh (New Carlisle, OH), 3-2, in a league match.

The Vikings (7-10) will now prepare for their match against Sheridan (Thornville, OH). The Generals go into the non-league match with a 21-3 record. In their last match, Sheridan edged Lancaster (Lancaster, OH), 2-1, in a non-league match.
