California High School Baseball - Lincoln holds off Del Mar

Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA) and the host Del Mar Dons (San Jose, CA), saw Lincoln's baseball squad beat Del Mar by a margin of 7-3.

Coming up next, the Lions play the Oak Grove Eagles (San Jose, CA) in a Santa Teresa battle, on Monday, May 6. Lincoln will attempt to better on its 19-4 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 15-10 record after their 7-0 league loss to Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA).

The Dons now sport a 8-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Piedmont Hills for a Santa Teresa battle on Monday, May 6. Del Mar will play a Pirates squad coming off a 20-0 league win over Gunderson (San Jose, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 18-6.
