The Seaholm/Groves Maples baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting East Lansing Trojans to 2 in the Maples non-league victory on Friday.
The Maples (14-6) will now prepare for their match against Harper Woods (Harper Woods, MI). The Pioneers go into the non-league match with a 3-12 record. In their last match, Harper Woods was edged by Ferndale (Ferndale, MI), 9-5, in a non-league match.
The Trojans (1-12) will now prepare for their match against Waverly (Lansing, MI). The Warriors go into the Capital Area - Blue match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Waverly was edged by Okemos (Okemos, MI), 8-0, in a league match.
