The Moberly Spartans crushed the host Hallsville Indians baseball team by a count of 8-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Callaway for a non-league bout on Friday, May 3. Moberly will face a Thunderbirds team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Montgomery County (Montgomery City, MO). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 15-6.

Next, the Indians face the Eldon Mustangs (Eldon, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 4. Hallsville will attempt to move on its 6-18 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 16-9 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Fatima (Westphalia, MO).
