The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains got by the host New Riegel Blue Jackets baseball team by a count of 4-3 in Friday's league bout.

The Chieftains now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Danbury for a Sandusky Bay - River game on Saturday, May 4. Hopewell-Loudon will clash with a Lakers team coming off a 12-5 league loss to St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 4-14.

The Blue Jackets (14-6) will now prepare for their game against Lakota (Kansas, OH). The Raiders go into the Sandusky Bay - River game with a 7-13 record.
