The Lakeland Thunderbirds baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Rhinelander Hodags to 2 in the Thunderbirds league victory on Friday.

The Thunderbirds (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Medford (Medford, WI). The Raiders go into the Great Northern match with a 12-2 record. In their last match, Medford gained a win over Waunakee (Waunakee, WI), 1-0, in a non-league match.

The Hodags (1-13) will now prepare for their match against Merrill (Merrill, WI). The Bluejays go into the non-league match with a 7-9 record. In their last match, Merrill gained a win over Onalaska (Onalaska, WI), 7-4, in a non-league match.
