The Ocean Township Spartans baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting St. John-Vianney Lancers to 9 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.

The Spartans (10-7) will now prepare for their match against St. Rose (Belmar, NJ). The Purple Roses go into the non-league match with a 12-4 record. In their last match, St. Rose edged Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ), 6-4, in a non-league match.

The Lancers (6-9) will now prepare for their match against Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Monmouth Regional was edged by Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ), 16-2, in a league match.
