In Friday's non-league game, the host Thornapple Kellogg Trojans baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the West Michigan Aviation Academy .
The Trojans (12-5) will now prepare for their game against South Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Sailors go into the Ottawa-Kent - Gold game with a 8-4 record. In their last game, South Christian tipped Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI), 5-0, in a non-league game.
