In Friday's non-league test, the host Passaic Valley Hornets lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 victory over the Clifton Mustangs.

The Hornets now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bergen Tech for a non-league test on Monday, May 6. Passaic Valley will face a Knights squad coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Saddle Brook (Saddle Brook, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 6-4.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Dayton Bulldogs (Springfield, NJ) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 7. Clifton will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ).
