Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI), 17-8 in a league test.

The Mounties now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mary Academy-Bay View for a Division 3 test on Saturday, May 4. Mount St. Charles Academy will face a Bengals squad coming off a 15-5 league win over Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Bengals record now stands at 6-4.

In their next game, the Townies face the Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI) in a Division 3 test, on Tuesday, May 7. East Providence will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Mariners come into the test with a 7-1 record after their 6-5 league win over St. Mary Academy-Bay View (East Providence, RI).
