The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) and the host Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL), saw Metea Valley's lacrosse team top Neuqua Valley by a margin of 14-2.

The Mustangs (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Dunlap was overwhelmed by Sandburg (Orland Park, IL), 21-1, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Downers Grove North was overwhelmed by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 12-9, in a non-league challenge.
