The Newark Reds baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Penn Yan Academy Mustangs to 1 in the Reds non-league victory on Friday.

The Reds (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY). The Blue Devils go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Mynderse Academy was overwhelmed by Midlakes (Clifton Springs, NY), 19-3, in a non-league match.

The Mustangs (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Hornell (Hornell, NY). The Red Raiders go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Hornell was overwhelmed by Haverling (Bath, NY), 5-3, in a non-league match.
