The Monticello Mustangs triumphed over the host Charlottesville Black Knights lacrosse team by a score of 10-2 in Friday's non-league match.
With the win, Monticello upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Patriots in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 7. The Patriots go into the match with a record of 5-2. Albemarle won 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Orange County (Orange, VA)
The Black Knights (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record.
