The Bear Creek Bruins (Stockton, CA) softball routed the host Franklin Yellowjackets (Stockton, CA), 18-7 in Friday's league bout.
The Bruins (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against Edison (Stockton, CA). The Vikings go into the bout with a 13-6 record. In their last bout, Edison was routed by Linden (Linden, CA), 19-0, in a league bout.
