The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Franklin County Tech Eagles (Turners Falls, MA) and the host Hopkins Academy Golden Hawks (Hadley, MA), saw Franklin County Tech's softball squad achieve victory over Hopkins Academy by a count of 26-9.

The Eagles now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Amherst-Pelham Regional for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 7.

With the loss, Hopkins Academy falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Golden hawks host Pioneer Valley Regional (Northfield, MA) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, May 6. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-1.
