The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) and the visiting Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), saw Carmel's lacrosse team achieve victory over Lake Forest Academy by a margin of 9-3.

The Corsairs (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Prospect was overwhelmed by Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL), 11-10, in a league challenge.

The Caxys (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Latin (Chicago, IL). The Romans enter the challenge with a 8-6 record.
