The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) and the host Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA), saw Helix's lacrosse team top Monte Vista by a margin of 10-1.

The Monarchs (4-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA). The Bobcats enter the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Sage Creek was overwhelmed by Fallbrook (Fallbrook, CA), 17-0, in a league challenge.
