The South Eugene Axe lacrosse team scored 13 points and limited the host Thurston Colts to 11 in the Axe league triumph on Friday.

The Axe (10-4) will now prepare for their game against Corvallis (Corvallis, OR). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Corvallis edged Thurston (Springfield, OR), 15-8, in a non-league game.
