Virginia High School Soccer - Battlefield nudges Patriot

Battlefield Bobcats (Haymarket, VA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Patriot Pioneers (Nokesville, VA), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bobcats confront the Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) in a Cedar Run challenge, on Tuesday, May 7. Battlefield will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 1-1 non-league Forest Park (Woodbridge, VA).
The Pioneers now possess a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Osbourn Park for a Cedar Run challenge on Thursday, May 9.
