The Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) soccer bounced the host Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA), 6-1 in Friday's league bout.
With the victory, Fleming moves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Colonels travel to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA) to battle the Cavaliers in a Blue Ridge bout on Tuesday, May 7. The Cavaliers enter the bout with a record of 5-7. Lord Botetourt won 3-2 in their recent league bout against William Byrd (Vinton, VA)
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) in a Blue Ridge bout, on Tuesday, May 7. Northside will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the bout with a 1-12 record after their 4-0 league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA).
