The Barker Bulldogs nipped the host Alexander Trojans softball squad by a final score of 6-5 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Bulldogs (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Wilson (Wilson, NY). The Lakemen go into the Section 6 Niagara - Orleans battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Wilson held off Albion (Albion, NY), 4-2, in a league battle.

The Trojans now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Dunkirk for a non-league battle on Friday, May 3. Alexander will meet a Marauders squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Olean (Olean, NY). The Marauders record now stands at 2-8.
