The AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY) softball routed the host Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY), 11-1 in Friday's league bout.

The Patriots (7-4) will now prepare for their bout against Saranac (Saranac, NY). The Spartans go into the Section 7 Champlain Valley I bout with a 7-2 record. In their last bout, Saranac was routed by Franklin Academy (Malone, NY), 5-4, in a non-league bout.
