The crowd at Friday's league match between the Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME) and the host Bangor Christian Patriots (Bangor, ME), saw Woodland's softball squad achieve victory over Bangor Christian by a count of 17-0.

The Dragons now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Shead for a Class D North match on Monday, May 6. Woodland will face a Tigers squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Bangor Christian falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Patriots host Stearns (Millinocket, ME) to face the Minutemen in a Class D North match on Monday, May 6. The Minutemen enter the match with a record of 2-4. Stearns lost 6-5 in their recent league match against Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME)
