Boscobel Bulldogs (Boscobel, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fennimore Golden Eagles (Fennimore, WI), 5-4 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cuba City for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. Boscobel will battle a Cubans squad coming off a 11-6 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, WI). The Cubans record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Fennimore falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI) to battle the Panthers in a SWAL challenge on Monday, May 6. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 11-5. Iowa-Grant won 7-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI)
