Brunswick Railroaders (Brunswick, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD), 15-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Railroaders now own a 7-13 record. They take the field next when they host Williamsport for a CMC challenge on Monday, May 6. Brunswick will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Fort Hill falls to 8-7 on the campaign.
