In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Chippewa Falls Cardinals softball team scored a close 6-5 win over the D.C. Everest Evergreens.
Coming up next, the Cardinals battle the Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes (Eau Claire, WI) in a Big Rivers outing, on Monday, May 6. Chippewa Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 16-2 season record.
The Evergreens (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Superior (Superior, WI). The Spartans enter the non-league outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Superior tipped Marshall (Duluth, MN), 32-3, in a non-league outing.
