The crowd at Friday's league match between the Clear Lake Cardinals (Lakeport, CA) and the visiting Cloverdale Eagles (Cloverdale, CA), saw Clear Lake's softball squad nip Cloverdale by a count of 6-0.

The Cardinals now sport a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kelseyville for a North Central I match on Tuesday, May 7. Clear Lake will face a Knights squad coming off a 18-6 league win over Middletown (Middletown, CA). The Knights record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Cloverdale falls to 13-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to St. Helena (St. Helena, CA) to face the Saints in a North Central I match on Tuesday, May 7. The Saints enter the match with a record of 17-4. St. Helena won 7-0 in their recent league match against Upper Lake (Upper Lake, CA)
