In Friday's league contest, the Divine Child Falcons (Dearborn, MI) softball team held off the visiting Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Divine Child moves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Falcons host Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI) to play the Huskies in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 15. The Huskies come into the contest with a record of 6-9.
In their next game, the Mustangs play the Cass Tech Technicians (Detroit, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 4. Lutheran North will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Technicians come into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 13-8 non-league loss to Renaissance (Detroit, MI).
