In Friday's league contest, the East Aurora Blue Devils (East Aurora, NY) softball team held off the visiting Kennedy Bears (Cheektowaga, NY), by a margin of 4-3.
With the triumph, East Aurora moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Eden (Eden, NY) to play the Raiders in a non-league contest on Monday, May 6. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 3-2.
In their next game, the Bears play the Cleveland Hill Golden Eagles (Cheektowaga, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County IV contest, on Monday, May 6. Kennedy will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record.
