The crowd at Friday's league match between the Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) and the visiting Eden Prairie Eagles (Eden Prairie, MN), saw Hopkins's softball squad nip Eden Prairie by a count of 2-0.
The Royals now sport a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Champlin Park for a non-league match on Saturday, May 4.
With the loss, Eden Prairie falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to North (North St. Paul, MN) to face the Polars in a non-league match on Saturday, May 4. The Polars enter the match with a record of 8-2. North won 7-1 in their recent non-league match against Tartan (Oakdale, MN)
