Waterloo Tigers (Waterloo, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Geneva Panthers (Geneva, NY), 24-9 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host South Seneca for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. Waterloo will face a Falcons squad coming off a 15-10 non-league loss to Campbell-Savona (Campbell, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Geneva falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Panthers host Greece Athena (Rochester, NY) to face the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Greece Athena lost 8-2 in their recent league challenge against Batavia (Batavia, NY)
