The North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR) softball nipped the visiting Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR), 6-5 in Friday's league bout.
The Black Tornado (14-7) will now prepare for their bout against Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR). The Cavemen go into the 6A Southwest bout with a 6-11 record.
The Cavemen now possess a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to North Medford for a 6A Southwest bout on Friday, May 3. Grants Pass will confront a Black Tornado squad coming off a 15-2 league win over Willamette (Eugene, OR). The Black Tornado record now stands at 12-7.
