Haverling Rams (Bath, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hornell Red Raiders (Hornell, NY), 10-4 in a league challenge.

The Rams now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Victor for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4. Haverling will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Hornell falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Livonia (Livonia, NY) to battle the Bulldogs in a Livingston County Division I challenge on Monday, May 6. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 4-10. Livonia won 7-6 in their recent league challenge against Wayland-Cohocton (Wayland, NY)
