New York High School Softball - Kennedy Catholic holds off Maria Regina

May 3, 2024: Hartsdale, NY 10530

Spectators at Friday's league match between the Kennedy Catholic Gaels (Somers, NY) and the host Maria Regina Tigers (Hartsdale, NY), witnessed Kennedy Catholic's softball squad tip Maria Regina by a count of 11-9.

The Gaels now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Preston for a Bronx/Westchester match on Sunday, May 5.

With the loss, Maria Regina moves to 1-5 on the season. The Tigers host Sacred Heart (Yonkers, NY) to face the Irish in a non-league match on Saturday, May 4. The Irish go into the match with a record of 2-2. Sacred Heart won 24-12 in their recent league match against Cathedral (New York, NY)
