The South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY) softball routed the host Lowville Red Raiders (Lowville, NY), 17-1 in Friday's league bout.

The Spartans (9-1) will now prepare for their bout against Fulton (Fulton, NY). The Red Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 2-8 record. In their last bout, Fulton was routed by West Genesee (Camillus, NY), 11-2, in a non-league bout.

The Red Raiders now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Indian River for a non-league bout on Monday, May 6. Lowville will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 0-8.
