The crowd at Friday's league match between the Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR) and the visiting Mohawk Mustangs (Marcola, OR), saw Santiam's softball squad achieve victory over Mohawk by a count of 21-3.

The Wolverines now sport a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Regis for a 2A/1A-SD3 Special District 3 match on Tuesday, May 7.

With the loss, Mohawk falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Culver (Culver, OR) to face the Bulldogs in a 2A/1A-SD3 Special District 3 match on Tuesday, May 7. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 1-9. Culver lost 19-18 in their recent league match against Central Linn (Halsey, OR)
