The South Ripley Raiders (Versailles, IN) softball routed the host New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN), 10-4 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Raiders (4-9) will now prepare for their bout against Switzerland County (Vevay, IN). The Pacers go into the Ohio River Valley bout with a 0-15 record. In their last bout, Switzerland County was routed by Rising Sun (Rising Sun, IN), 13-2, in a league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 4. New Washington will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Rebels come into the game with a 11-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Rising Sun (Rising Sun, IN).
