The Seymour Wildcats softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Oxford Wolverines to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Seymour improves its record to 13-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Kennedy (Waterbury, CT) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, May 6. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 1-10.
In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Derby Red Raiders (Derby, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass game, on Monday, May 6. Oxford will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record.
