Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the West Plains Wolves (Amarillo, TX) and the visiting Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX), witnessed West Plains's softball squad tip Riverside by a count of 5-1.

The Wolves now sport a 18-8 record. They play next when they travel to Pampa for a non-league match on Saturday, May 11. West Plains will face a Harvesters squad coming off a 20-2 non-league win over San Elizario (San Elizario, TX). The Harvesters record now stands at 15-11.

With the loss, Riverside moves to 16-18 on the season.
