St. Lawrence Central Larries (Brasher Falls, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Tupper Lake Lumberjacks (Tupper Lake, NY), 18-3 in a league challenge.

The Larries now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Norwood-Norfolk for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4. St. Lawrence Central will battle a Flyers squad coming off a 17-12 league loss to Ogdensburg Free Academy (Ogdensburg, NY). The Flyers record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Tupper Lake falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Parishville-Hopkinton (Parishville, NY) to battle the Panthers in a Section 10 East challenge on Monday, May 6. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-9. Parishville-Hopkinton lost 28-9 in their recent league challenge against Brushton-Moira (Brushton, NY)
