The Algoma Wolves baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Howards Grove Tigers to 0 in the Wolves non-league win on Saturday.

The Wolves now hold a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oconto for a Packerland test on Tuesday, May 6. Algoma will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Bonduel (Bonduel, WI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Howards Grove drops to 2-12 on the year. The Tigers host Cedar Grove-Belgium (Cedar Grove, WI) to play the Rockets in a Big East-South test on Monday, May 5. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 12-2. Cedar Grove-Belgium lost 9-6 in their recent non-league test against Kewaskum (Kewaskum, WI)
