Massachusetts High School Baseball - Burncoat defeats North

The Burncoat Patriots baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting North Polar Bears to 2 in the Patriots league win on Saturday.

The Patriots now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prouty for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7. Burncoat will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 15-1 non-league win over North (Worcester, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.

With the defeat, North drops to 0-12 on the year. The Polar bears host Montachusett RVT (Fitchburg, MA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 4-6. Montachusett RVT won 15-5 in their recent non-league test against St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA)
