In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy Sentinels baseball team scored a nice 9-1 win over the Byron Eagles.
The Sentinels (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Whitmore Lake (Whitmore Lake, MI). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, Whitmore Lake knocked off Clarenceville (Livonia, MI), 4-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Eagles play the Montrose Rams (Montrose, MI) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 5. Byron will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Rams go into the game with a 0-8 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Brandon (Ortonville, MI).
