The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI) and the visiting Canton Cobras (Canton, MI), saw Kalamazoo Central's baseball team get by Canton by a margin of 3-2.
The Maroon Giants (11-12) will now prepare for their battle against Plainwell (Plainwell, MI). The Trojans enter the non-league battle with a 11-10 record. In their last battle, Plainwell held off Gobles (Gobles, MI), 15-9, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cobras face the Northville Mustangs (Northville, MI) in a Kensington Lakes - West battle, on Monday, May 5. Canton will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 15-4 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Saline (Saline, MI).
