New Mexico High School Baseball - Taos loses to Espanola Valley

May 3, 2025: Taos, NM 87571

Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) boosters exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they saw their baseball team gain a win over the host Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), 11-7 in a league battle.

The Sundevils (6-18) will now prepare for their battle against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers enter the 4A District 2 battle with a 10-13 record. In their last battle, Taos was overwhelmed by Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 12-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) in a 4A District 2 battle, on Saturday, May 3. Taos will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Sundevils enter the battle with a 5-18 record after their 18-17 league loss to Moriarty (Moriarty, NM).
