The Forest Hills Northern Huskies nipped the visiting Traverse City Central Trojans baseball squad by a score of 7-6 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Huskies battle the East Grand Rapids Pioneers (Grand Rapids, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - White outing, on Monday, May 5. Forest Hills Northern will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Pioneers come into the outing with a 14-1 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI).
The Trojans (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Gaylord (Gaylord, MI). The Blue Devils come into the Big North outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Gaylord tipped Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI), 9-2, in a non-league outing.
