The Greens Farms Academy Dragons baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Marianapolis Prep Golden Knights to 3 in the Dragons non-league win on Saturday.

The Dragons now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamden Hall Country Day for a Fairchester test on Tuesday, May 6. Greens Farms Academy will play a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Brunswick School (Greenwich, CT). The Hornets record now stands at 11-11.

With the defeat, Marianapolis Prep drops to 2-10 on the year. The Golden knights host Springfield Commonwealth Academy (Springfield, MA) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7. The Tornadoes go into the test with a record of 0-1. Springfield Commonwealth Academy lost 9-5 in their recent non-league test against Putnam Science Academy (Putnam, CT)
