Texas High School Baseball - Riesel defeats Itasca

May 3, 2025: Riesel, TX 76682

The Riesel Indians baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Itasca Wampus Cats to 5 in the Indians non-league win on Saturday.

The Indians now hold a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poolville for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. Riesel will play a Monarchs team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Moody (Moody, TX). The Monarchs record now stands at 17-8.

With the defeat, Itasca drops to 17-5 on the year.
