In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Mashpee Falcons baseball team scored a nice 15-5 win over the Nantucket Whalers.

The Falcons (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Rockland (Rockland, MA). The Bulldogs go into the South Shore game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Rockland knocked off Carver (Carver, MA), 9-3, in a league game.

Next, the Whalers play the Sturgis West Navigators (Hyannis, MA) in a Cape & Islands game, on Wednesday, May 7. Nantucket will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Navigators go into the game with a 0-5 record after their 19-0 league loss to St. John Paul II (Hyannis, MA).
